I am 61 years old this year. I have been a husband, pastor, teacher, author, and now am a president of a association of colleges.
I am not too tech savvy so you may find mistakes throughout this, but please catch the spirit of my writing.
My journey to where I am now began very humbly. Born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. I grew up in the area and went away to
N.B. for the summer of 1967 where I ministered with my uncle in his church. From there I spent a year at Elim Bible Institute
in Lima, NY.
After coming home in the summer of 1968, I married in September and over the years we had 5 children of our own and a
foster child making six teenagers at the same time. I grew gray early.
We moved about from Belleville to Bothwell, to Bancroft to Peterborough, to Montreal, to Upsala Ontario, and back to the
Bloomfield area. During all that time I was ministering and also working. The five years in Upsala we lived in Christian Community.
Each move was a learning experience.
After we came back to Southern Ontario, I started a church in Kingston Ontario, from a home group. I continued with that
church for almost 20 years. Then God moved me on. During the years in Kingston, we earned degrees through to a doctorate from
Canada Christian College. I also taught there for twelve years.
I later earned a PhD, from Shalom Bible College and Seminary. I was honored by the Evangelical Order of Pastoral Counselors
with an honorary Doctor of Pastoral Counseling.
I am currently living in Georgia, overseeing some churches and schools as well as traveling in ministry and writing courses.

Taking a break from work

What a job!
This picture was taken in my office in Kingston Ontario a number of years ago. I was in writing mode and just stopped for
a breather. I enjoy writing the courses because it is then that the Lord communicates best with me.
